Terms of Use

Last updated: April 2026

1. About the service

netadm.pro Wiki is a knowledge base about networking, security, system administration, and related topics. It is operated as a non-commercial project. Registration is free. By registering and using the wiki, you agree to these Terms of Use.

2. Registration

To publish articles or leave comments, you must register an account. Registration requires:

  • A valid email address — for one-time verification only. We do not send any newsletters or marketing messages.
  • A username (letters, digits, underscores, 3–50 characters).
  • A password (at least 12 characters, with uppercase, lowercase, and a digit) or a passkey (FIDO2/WebAuthn).

One person — one account. Creating multiple accounts to bypass restrictions is prohibited.

3. Profile and contact information

Your profile may include optional contact details: links to Telegram, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, and a personal website. Adding this information is entirely voluntary — it is intended for readers who want to contact article authors directly. Any data you add to your profile is publicly visible.

In the future, the site may offer the option to receive technical notifications (such as replies to your comments) via email or Telegram — this will be an opt-in choice, never enabled by default.

4. Content rules

When publishing articles or comments, you agree not to post:

  • Spam, advertising, or repetitive content unrelated to the topic.
  • Content that is illegal under applicable law.
  • Hate speech, harassment, threats, or personal attacks.
  • Malicious code, exploits, or instructions intended to cause harm.
  • Content that infringes the intellectual property rights of others.

5. Intellectual property

You retain authorship of the articles and comments you write. By publishing content on this wiki, you grant the site a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store, and reproduce that content as part of the service. You represent that you have the right to publish the content you submit.

6. Модерация

Administrators may edit, remove, or reassign any content that violates these Terms or degrades the quality of the knowledge base. Accounts that systematically violate these rules may be suspended or deleted.

7. Availability

We make every effort to keep the wiki available, but provide no uptime guarantees. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

8. Disclaimer

Articles on this wiki are provided for informational purposes only. The authors and administrators are not responsible for any damages resulting from applying the information published here. Always verify critical configurations in a test environment before using them in production.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page indicates when they were last revised. Continued use of the service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
